How the day runs

  1. Drinks reception

    Balearic, deep and vocal house at conversation level. Sax or sax-and-flute can be added live, and it lifts a garden or a courtyard enormously.

  2. Wedding breakfast

    Soul, neo-soul and soulful house underneath the speeches and the food. Present, never intrusive.

  3. First dance

    Cued, levelled and introduced properly. Straight into a floor-filler so nobody drifts back to their table.

  4. The night

    Open format: disco, house, Motown, current, whatever the floor is telling me. Mixed live all the way to the curfew.

What comes as standard

No hidden

Travel is included within 50 miles of Knutsford. Beyond that it's £1 per mile. Extra hours on the night are £50 to £100 depending on the venue and curfew.

Before you ask

Where are you based and how far do you travel?

Based in Knutsford, Cheshire, and out regularly across Manchester, Cheshire and the North West, and nationally or internationally on request. Travel within a 50-mile radius of Knutsford is included; beyond that it is charged at £1 per mile.

What equipment do you bring?

A full PA system with top-of-the-range Pioneer decks, plus moving head lighting. Everything is PAT certified and covered by £2 million public liability insurance. Most venues will ask for both.

Can we choose the music?

Absolutely. Send over your must-plays and your do-not-plays and I will build around them. Plenty of couples leave it entirely with me. Either way, I read the room on the night rather than running a fixed set.

Do you use pre-recorded sets?

Never. Everything is mixed live, using current edits and mix tracks to keep it modern. What you hear is what is happening in the room.

How long do you need to set up?

An hour is ideal. If access is tight or the room is being turned around, let me know in advance and we will plan it properly.
