I started at sixteen, playing clubs around Sheffield. Twenty years later I'm resident at The Ivy in Manchester and I've played over two hundred weddings. The job has never actually changed. Read the room. Play the right record. Keep them there.

Everything is mixed live. No pre-recorded sets, no autopilot, no laminated playlist I run regardless of what's happening in front of me. I use current edits and mix tracks to keep it modern, and I'll happily build the whole night around your list, or take it entirely off your hands.

bits

Everything couples and event planners ask before they book.

Where are you based and how far do you travel?

Based in Knutsford, Cheshire, and out regularly across Manchester, Cheshire and the North West, and nationally or internationally on request. Travel within a 50-mile radius of Knutsford is included; beyond that it is charged at £1 per mile.

What equipment do you bring?

A full PA system with top-of-the-range Pioneer decks, plus moving head lighting. Everything is PAT certified and covered by £2 million public liability insurance. Most venues will ask for both.

Can we choose the music?

Absolutely. Send over your must-plays and your do-not-plays and I will build around them. Plenty of couples leave it entirely with me. Either way, I read the room on the night rather than running a fixed set.

Do you use pre-recorded sets?

Never. Everything is mixed live, using current edits and mix tracks to keep it modern. What you hear is what is happening in the room.

How long do you need to set up?

An hour is ideal. If access is tight or the room is being turned around, let me know in advance and we will plan it properly.
